History

The foundation for Handi-Move was laid when founder René Van Raemdonck, working in cooperation with a university research group, designed an innovative hoist system for an acquaintance who was confined to a wheelchair and his wife.

Although Handi-Move has since developed into a company with branches all over the world, our basic objective remains the same: developing innovative hoist and care systems for wheelchair users and caregivers, which are designed to perfectly fulfill their specific needs.
