The SureHands®Body Support is like being lifted by a strong pair of hands.

Imagine the safety and security when a mother lifts her child, that's how the Body Support feels. The upper body is supported by the padded cups (hands) while the thighs are supported by the strong supports that go under each thigh. As the person is lifted, the curve-around cups automatically self-adjust to their exact size and weight.

Independent movement

A person with sufficient use of their arms and hands may be able to use the SureHands Body Support independently with a SureHands ceiling lift system. Move from room to room, bed to bath, toilet, shower, or any room in the house to safely transfer independently, an easy and effective system for those wanting to transfer independently.

Movement with attendant care

The Body Support can be fitted faster and more easily than a sling, making it a great solution for attendant care. Transferring is less complicated with the Body Support benefiting both the user and the attendant.

Universal Sizing
The unique design of the Body Support allows it to adjust to the size and weight of the user as they are lifted. The same Body Support could be large enough for an adult and small enough for a child. This makes it ideal for growing children or where multiple people are using the system.

Versatile
SUREHANDS lifts can accommodate a Body Support or a sling. You can quickly switch between a body support and a spreader bar with a sling.

Using the Body Support for Therapy or Recreation

Swimming
With the Body Support and the SureHands pool lift, the user is transferred directly from the wheelchair into the pool. A HM 2500 ceiling lift can also get you directly from the wheelchair to the pool.

Horseback Riding
The Body Support can allow the rider to easily mount or dismount a horse. Thanks to the unique support system, the use's bottom is entirely free.

Walking Exercises With suitable users, the Body Support can provide support during ambulation rehab.
