Ceiling hoist with lateral motor drive - living independently
If you have lost the ability to transfer manually but you still have a limited range of motion with adequate muscle tone, it may be possible for you to self-transfer with either the 2800 L or 2800 LRC track system. Go from your bed to wheel- chair, toilet or bath in silence with a soft stop and start motion. The motor, which operates on rechargeable batteries,has a lifting capacity up to 200 kg.
The LRC wireless infrared remote model gives you the ultimate control to send the motor away when not needed and summon it back when you are ready to go.

Bathing independently with the Body Support and ceiling lift
The unique and patented Handi-Move Body Support is made of lightweight yet sturdy stainless steel. None of its components absorb moisture in the bathtub or swimming pool. Just wipe it down with a cloth, and it’s clean and dry again. The ceiling-mounted motor ensures a smooth transfer into your bathtub.
Using the Body Support and ceiling lift to get to the toilet on your own
With the ceiling motor and the Handi-Move Body Support, you can get to the toilet on your own. Because your lower back and buttocks remain completely free within the Body Support, you can easily pull your pants down and back up.
Into the pool and swimming independently or with assistance using the Body Support and ceiling lift
The Body Support allows the user to get in and out of the water directly from their wheelchair to swim. In addition to the mobile lift, Handi-Move also offers a ceiling motor as a lifting system for the pool. The ceiling motor moves along a rail. It is ideal for intensive use and/or in pools where installing a floor base is not possible. You are securely suspended in the Body Support, but slings or the pool lift chair are also options.
For pool applications, the Body Support (model 1035) is electrolytically polished (= anti-corrosion).

Distance control anywhere on the ceiling track
Handi-Move provides magnetic contacts for use with the 2800 L and 2805 IR ceiling motors, which can be placed anywhere along the track to insure that the motor will stop at certain predetermined places, e.g. middle of the toilet, on the charging pins, etc.
