“Portable ceiling lifts in use in intensive care”

Pflegezentrum Nagold opened in 2023 and provides 90 residential care places. These include 15 intensive-care places for ventilator-dependent residents, as well as 15 dementia-care places in a secure unit.
In 15 of the intensive-care rooms, the Handi-Move team from Wildberg installed ceiling track rails for use with two portable ceiling lifts. Ceiling lift systems were also installed in two assisted bathrooms, each featuring a traverse rail system with a ceiling motor that travels along the rail.
At Pflegezentrum Nagold, the care staff devote plenty of time to each resident’s care and individual needs. The ceiling lifts and portable ceiling lifts make their work easier and are always close at hand.
In the assisted bathrooms, ceiling lifts with a traverse rail system are used. This makes it possible to reach every part of the room without having to transfer the patient to another lift or lower them first.
